First time ordering pizza from here and it won't be my last. I have looked for a pizza restaurant/takeaway for years that makes authentic, tasty pizzas but have always found them lacking. My order was a ham and mushroom pizza and cheese garlic bread. Delicious! Large chunks of fresh, tasty ham and just the right amount of cheese to tomato topping. The pizza filled the box so I will get 2 meals out of it. Cheese garlic bread was gorgeous. Cooked to perfection, just the right amount of garlic for me and lots of crisp airpockets in the dough. Great value for money. Will be booking a table soon!
It's the first day of spring and a pleasant evening. Didn't feel like cooking, so my partner and I popped into La Rocca. Three courses for 20, which I thought was excellent value. I had calamari, then a Proteica pizza. For dessert, I had a torta della nonna, which was a sort of almond cake with custard filling. Delicious! My partner enjoyed soup, a Pollo pizza and coffee. I think the place caters more for people ordering takeaways, as we were the only ones dining in. Lots of people came in to collect pizzas. Nice, friendly staff.
We enjoyed a lovely meal here, prices reasonable,great staff,would have liked more vegetarian choice but would still revisit.
Honestly the best food I’ve had in a long time, the staff are attentive prompt and very friendly. The chef needs to give himself some serious credit as the food is always piping hot a fresh. Can’t fault it
We called without a booking after seeing an A board outside weeks ago for a three course meal for under 20 per person Sunday- Friday and decided at the last minute to treat my wife as it was her birthday. The food was fantastic and all cooked fresh and served nice and hot. The service we received and witnessed was absolutely fantastic. No wonder the place was busy and seemed to doing a good trade with collections for takeaways. See you again soon. Paul and Sally
We have been dining at La Rocca since 2012 and have always had a wonderful experience from the staff and the food is exceptional. The garlic bread with cheese is the best I’ve ever tasted! I love the fact it is small and quaint and doesn’t have music blasting away - so you can talk easily with your friends and family without having to shout. Had another cracking meal there tonight - thanks La Rocca!
We went to la rocca on sunday night and the meal was amazing, the atmosphere was lovely and all staff members were incredibly kind and helpful. I had the rib-eye steak and it was cooked to perfection. My girlfriend had the seabass and and she said it was delicious and all the flavours worked perfectly together. We were so happy with our experience and will be back very soon.
The food here is excellent! The servers are very welcoming and always happy to help. Highly recommended
